Half Marathon
Event details:
- Date: Nov. 7. Race time is 8:00 a.m. EST.
- Register here.
- $55 by March 29
- $60 by July 26
- $65 by Sept. 11
- $75 Sept. 12 – Nov. 2 (Register by this date to guarantee a t-shirt.)
- $90 if registered after Nov. 2. Online registration is open through Nov. 7. You may also register 7 – 7:45 a.m. race morning.
- There is no packet pick-up prior to race morning.
- Commemorative medals to all participants. Long-sleeve tech t-shirts guaranteed to all who register by Nov. 2. Others while supplies last.
- Registration fees are not refundable.
- You may transfer your registration to another runner for a $10 fee if you do so by Nov. 2 at 4 pm. To transfer, call Kayla Prewitt at 606-256-7767.
- There are 9 hydrations stations, 6 porta-potty opportunities, and one gear drop on the course (see course map at the bottom of this page)
- Time limit: 3 1/2 hours
Awards:
- $100 and trophies to overall male and female winner
- $25 off the 2021 half marathon to all age group first place winners
- Top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 12-under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
- Top three male and female walkers
- Awards will be presented at 10:30 a.m. near the finish area
2-Person Relay
Event details:
- The first leg of relay is the more challenging at 7.6 miles with a couple of small climbs. It brings you back to the starting line/staging area at the entertainment center, where you will hand off to your partner, who will finish the race with a flat 5.5 run along the prettiest part of the valley, Hummel Road.

5K Run/Walk
Event details:
- Race time is 8:05 a.m. EST. (5K participants will line up behind the half marathoners, who will start at 8:00.)
- Pre-register here.
- $20 pre-registration fee by Oct. 14 (register by this date to guarantee a t-shirt). $25 through Oct. 17 (online). You may also register at the packet-pickup Oct. 19 4:30-7:00 p.m., or race morning, 7 a.m.– 7:45 a.m. (Guaranteed t-shirt if registered by Oct. 14).
- Packet pick-up is Oct. 18 4:30-7:00 p.m., at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, 2590 Richmond St., Mt. Vernon, KY 40456, or 7:00 – 8:15 a.m. on race morning at the race start area at Renfro Valley Entertainment Center, 2380 Richmond Street, Mt. Vernon, KY 40456. Race time is 8:05 a.m.
- Short-sleeve Tech T-shirts guaranteed to all participants registered by Oct. 14. Others while supplies last.
- Registration fees are not refundable.
- No registration transfers for the 5K.
- There is a hydration station at the one-mile point of this out-and-back course.
Awards:
- Overall male and female race winner
- Top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 12-under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+
